Buddhability App Launches

The Buddhability App was launched on July 31 alongside their podcast episode featuring Bridgerton star Claudia Jessie.

Many people first discover Buddhability through its podcast or social media but don’t personally know an SGI member who can chant with them or answer their questions. This extended into an idea for an app that could introduce people to Buddhist practice by answering their questions, teaching them to chant and encouraging them to take the next step in their journey.

For SGI members, this app is also meant to serve as the “ultimate Nam-myoho-renge-kyo card” to assist those we are trying to introduce to Buddhism. Once our friends download the app, they can start chanting and studying on their own. They’ll also receive push notifications with Ikeda Sensei’s guidance and other encouraging Buddhability content.

The app features:

A “Chanting” tab that assists you in chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and tracks how much you chant. As you go on chanting streaks, you unlock special badges and stickers.
A “Friends” feature that keeps you connected to people you are sharing Buddhism with, allowing you to send them interesting articles and podcasts.
An “Ask Buddhability” feature that uses AI to search Buddhability content. It then provides answers in a friendly and easy-to-understand format.
An “Idea of the Day” that provides fresh encouragement each day.
“Courses and Challenges” that deepen Buddhist study. Ex. “How to Get Unstuck in 10 Days.”

Download the Buddhability App today and discover tools to support your Buddhist practice.

The free app is available for download at the App Store (Apple) and the Google Play Store (Android).
