Let’s become deeply compassionate

  Buddhists who always lend wholehearted

  support and comfort to those who are

  facing difficulties and worries.

The essence of the Gakkai spirit is

  reflected in our sincere efforts to help 

  “remove suffering and impart joy.”(*)

(*)In Japanese, “bakku-yoraku” is the practice of compassion in Buddhism interpreted as “saving other people from their sufferings and giving them peace and delight.”
