Part-Time Merchandising Assistant

Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in merchandising for retail, including product development and buying for multistore locations. Duties include buying, working with vendors, data entry, data maintenance, product development, open order follow-up and SGI-USA bookstore support. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be flexible, a self-starter and team player. Computer proficiency, knowledge of e-commerce, store management and product design are musts.

Full-Time Editor and Full-Time Writer

The SGI-USA Periodicals Center is seeking an 1) editor who can oversee planning and production of our flagship periodical, World Tribune, and 2) a writer who can author engaging experiences that convey the principles of faith and human revolution. Candidates must have a strong command of the English language and Associated Press Stylebook and maintain high-quality work on tight deadlines. Preferred skills, education and experience: a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field, with a minimum of three years’ experience.

Part-Time Member Services Representative

Candidates should be detail oriented, self-starters and team players. Computer proficiency and accurate data-entry skills are required. Candidates should also be skilled in over-the-phone customer service, have solid problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic.

Full-Time Accounting Clerk

Candidates should have a four-year college degree with two or more years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with basic accounting knowledge. At least two accredited accounting classes required. Duties include accounts payable, receivable functions, data entry and supporting the accounting manager with tasks related to daily accounting operations. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft applications, and knowledge of Microsoft D365 is a plus.

Full-Time Finance Staff

Candidates should have a four-year degree in finance, economics or a similar field of study in addition to two to four years of fund accounting, custody, securities processing or other industry experience with basic accounting knowledge. Duties include maintaining supporting documents, preparing various operational reports and financial statements. Must have research, organizational and analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft applications (requires advanced Excel skills). Candidates ideally have or are pursuing CFA certification. Experience with Power BI and Microsoft D365 is a plus.
