The SGI-USA future division will host a national webinar on Saturday, Oct. 30 (1 p.m. PT/3 p.m. CT/4 p.m. ET) for all high school seniors who are interested in applying to Soka University of America (SUA). Parents of high school seniors can also attend.

This event will focus primarily on the admissions process including SUA’s application requirements and timeline. The deadline for early action is Nov. 1, 2021, while regular admission applications are due on Jan. 15, 2022.

SUA is a private, four-year liberal arts college and graduate school in Aliso Viejo, California. It offers a 7:1 student/faculty ratio and study abroad for every undergraduate student. Founded upon the Buddhist principles of peace, human rights and the sanctity of life, SUA is open to top students of all nationalities and beliefs. Nearly half of its students come from more than 60 countries outside the U.S.

Daisaku Ikeda College, SUA’s undergraduate program, was recently ranked No. 29 on the list of Best National Liberal Arts colleges in the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges 2022.”
