Soka University of America Turns 20

Daisaku Ikeda founded Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, Calif., on May 3, 2001, to foster a steady stream of global citizens committed to living a contributive life. The private, nonsectarian liberal arts university is founded on the principles of peace, human rights and the sanctity of life.
