SGI President and Mrs. Ikeda Visit Edogawa on June 6

SGI President and Mrs. Ikeda visited the Tokyo International Ikeda Memorial Hall on the morning of June 6, 2018, commemorating the 147th birthday of first Soka Gakkai President Tsunesaburo Makiguchi.

During their first visit to the center, they recited gongyo and chanted Nam-myoho-renge-kyo in honor of President Makiguchi’s noble life dedicated to the great vow for kosen-rufu. They also offered prayers for the happiness, health and victory of the local members of Edogawa Ward, and members throughout Japan and the world.

President and Mrs. Ikeda also viewed a special exhibition with panels introducing Edogawa’s history of kosen-rufu. Later the same day, they traveled by car to the Urayasu Peace Center in Chiba Prefecture. They sent a heartfelt message congratulating the members for the great success of the Kanto General Meeting and expressed their best regards to the members of Chiba.
