Advancing in Unity Toward Worldwide Kosen-rufu
Advancing With The Gosho: Words of Encouragement
If the spirit of many in body but one in mind prevails among the people, they will achieve all their goals, whereas if one in body but different in mind, they can achieve nothing remarkable. “Many in Body, One in Mind” The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, vol. 1, p. 618
It gives me boundless joy to share this passage with our members throughout the world at the start of this new year.
By uniting in the spirit of “many in body, one in mind,” we can definitely achieve kosen-rufu. This is the promise of Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law.
The key to unity is prayer. When we chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo with unity of purpose to expand our noble movement, our chanting becomes a lion’s roar that gives powerful momentum to the compassionate propagation of the Mystic Law.
Returning to our original vow as Bodhisattvas of the Earth and uniting our hearts as members of the Soka family, let us forge ahead toward realizing brilliant achievements!
