TORONTO, March 28—Mini Einsteins (404 to be exact) converged on Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District, setting a Guinness World Record for the “largest gathering of people dressed as Albert Einstein” on March 28.

The Next Einstein Initiative, created by the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University in conjunction with Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the custodian of the Einstein estate, recognizes new ideas with the potential to change the world for the better. The winner of The Next Einstein Competition will be announced on June 6. The recipient will receive more than the distinction of authoring a genius idea. The winner will receive $10,000 and become eligible for a $5,000 Einstein Legacy Student Scholarship.

The previous Guinness World Record, 304 Einsteins, was set by Black Pine Circle School in Berkeley, California, in 2015.
