Located in Montana’s Rocky Mountains and dubbed the “Crown of the Continent,” Glacier National Park contains the headwaters for streams that flow to the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and Hudson Bay, affecting waters in a huge swath of North America. Its 1,583 square miles of wilderness area feature more than 700 miles of hiking trails. Glacier is also an international peace park, biosphere reserve and world heritage site.
