A Winning View

On the night the Cubs won the World Series

Bob Nardi, a professional photographer and World Tribune contributor from Oak Forest, Illinois, took this stunning shot of the Chicago skyline a day after the Chicago Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in Game 7 of the World Series on Nov. 2, ending a 108-year championship drought.

Mr. Nardi said that chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo enables him to see his environment in a unique way, and he aims to take his photos “from the heart.” “One of the greatest benefits of my practice is to be able to do something I enjoy,” he said. “It’s like I’ve never worked.”
